Castlefield Terrace, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Delgany, Co. Wicklow is for rent on Daft.ie

Bathed entirely in artisanal knotty pine, this Delgany sanctuary offers the rare sensation of residing inside a sauna that has given up on ever getting hot. The bespoke electric hearth provides the ambiance of fire without the commitment of warmth, while the garden-facing window allows tenants to gaze longingly at the world of people who have rooms. At €300 weekly for what amounts to a very sincere garden shed, one isn't just renting a studio, one is investing in the emotional architecture of "at least it's not a tent."
