Ballinea, Rathconrath, Co. Westmeath is for rent on Daft.ie

The knotty-pine cladding here does double duty as both wall treatment and rustic aromatherapy, wrapping the tenant in a resinous embrace that no candle from a shop could replicate. Notice how the single window has been thoughtfully sized to admit exactly enough daylight to locate the bed, without the distraction of an actual view competing for your attention. At €200 weekly for what is essentially a very committed garden shed with a dresser, one isn't just renting a room, one is buying into a lifestyle of load-bearing timber and quiet floral defiance.
